Maturing Is Recognising The Difference Between A Mistake And A Decision

Woman thinking about making good decisions

“I made a mistake” is a popular phrase that we have all used at some point in our lives.

This shows that we are willing to take accountability but it can also stop us from making a real change.

Making a mistake is accidentally going through a red light. Making a decision is purposely going through red lights every day.

Only you can truly determine where you made a mistake or a decision.

Here are 3 verses to help you make better decisions:

  1. Psalm 119:11 - Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

  1. Proverbs 3:5 - 6 - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

  1. James 1:5 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
